Prioritizing your health and wellness starts with your skin, and taking good care of it may not always be the simplest task. Our team at Beauty Batlles Lounge is here to guide you on your skincare journey and give you tips and tricks on how to protect and take care of your skin no matter the season!
Your skin is your first layer of defense against the outside world. When maintaining healthy skin there are a few steps to remember. We recommend washing your face twice a day with warm (not hot) water, once in the morning and then again at night. Be sure to get enough sleep, try to keep stress levels down, and stay hydrated. Use sunscreen daily and try to avoid or limit direct exposure to the sun by wearing protective clothing. One of the most important steps you can take every day is to moisturize! Consider finding a moisturizer that works well for your skin type that also contains SPF.
All of these steps are helpful for maintaining beautiful and healthy skin at home in between your monthly facials! Seeing a licensed esthetician for a facial once a month is your key to fully getting the most out of your skincare journey. Remember, be gentle and patient with your skin. Rome wasn’t built in a day, skincare needs to be a part of your daily routine!
